In April 2014 we became a Limited Company trading under the name Little Footsteps (Porthcawl) Ltd. Each child will receive a high level of emotional and intellectual care from our staff that we carefully choose for their experience, qualifications and more importantly their unconditional love for children. We have set our standards high to maintain and assure quality, but will also work to improve and expand the facilities alongside the Care Inspectorate Wales. We also work with Estyn in line with the foundation phase curriculum for our preschool children. We are also working with BCBC childcare team to develop a preschool healthy eating award for our settings. We are looking at the foods we offer our children how we prepare them the involvement the children have with their food and preparation and also the physical activities we provide. We work with Supernova Soccer schools who come to our settings weekly to teach our children balance and coordination skills through ball games using colours and numbers to enhance their learning in a fun and physical atmosphere.
