Since beginning a new body of work in 2017 and making a decision to just ‘make stuff’ from this fantastic material, can be summed up as my effort to find balance; to create unity and harmony from chaos. Not only the clutter that surrounds each of us, but so too the chaotic, sometimes crazy world we live in. I love clay; everything about it and although I have no wish to offer it as anything other than what it is, I do hope my work makes people feel something and reflects the sheer joy I get from making it.
