Lester Bowden moved into its’ current premises — The Spread Eagle in 1994, the perfect location for the business to flourish. After just 26 years and some very old traditions, Stevensons (the proud new owners in 2017) have reinvented the old coaching inn to house the latest designer brands and their collections. From serving the Prince of Wales, Sir Winston Churchill and the Sultan of Oman in the early 1900’s, the focus remains after 120 years to give superior service and a high-quality choice for the modern wardrobe.
