During my course I volunteered at the London Marathon and the Westcliff Rugby club charity day; both of which were extremely valuable experiences. Since having my first child last year I have successfully completed Jenny Burrell’s course for Pre/Post Pregnancy Massage. I feel it is an important part in the journey of becoming a mother; alongside to help with recovery and the after care post birth. Sports massage is a deeper soft tissue massage and is not just beneficial for athletes but people in everyday life as well. Some of the benefits include injury prevention, functional muscle balance, pain reduction, improved flexibility and range of motion.
