Her interest in Chiropractic stemmed from having treatment for herself and her horse from a young age, enabling them to achieve optimum performance. Katie is also a qualified sports massage therapist. She finds the use of soft tissue work alongside chiropractic very effective and often uses Soft Tissue Release, Trigger Point Release Techniques, and Kinesio Taping as part of the treatment. Katie currently works as a Chiropractor from Lasting Touch Chiropractic. She travels through Hampshire and surrounding counties treating animals. See the Location page for more details. It is a legal requirement in the UK to be registered with the General Chiropractic Council, in order to use the title Chiropractor. All activity is regulated by the General Chiropractic Council and practitioners are required to adhere to its code of practice and standard of proficiency, as well as undergoing continuing professional development. Katie is certified by both the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC) and the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA).
