She was highly commended as a Woman Solicitor managing a small practice. She later went on to win the Rising Star Award at the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards in 2013 which took place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. She was judged by a panel of prestigious lawyers from Yorkshire including Judges, and the event was contested by Solicitors from all around the region with different lengths of experiences.
