This is reflected in our staff retention — with the average length of employment being over 15 years. Our optometrists are highly qualified and see on average 12 patients a day. This ensures that no patient is rushed and the optometrists have enough time to do any extra tests where necessary, and explain the results. Several of our optometrists have undergone extra training, which sees them receive patients referred by GPs and fellow optometrists, to conduct extra tests before referring a patient to the hospital eye service.
