We pride ourselves on delivering quality dental care for all the family. We have created a practice where the dentists and hygienists can deliver this care in a comfortable, relaxed and friendly environment. Our main drive is communicating with our patients and involving them in decisions about their teeth and gums. The benefit of this is that it encourages a mutual motivation towards achieving and maintaining a healthy mouth. The practice was started by Stanley Adamson in 1963. He was joined by David (and Gillian) Rowe in 1965; the founder members have since retired from general practice, as have Howard Paterson and Paul Downes. The original site for the practice was at 34 Oxford Street. In June 1979, the practice moved to 2 Nelson Road, having been bought from H.K. Daniels, one of Whitstable's well known builders and operators of Thames barges. Between them, Whitstable dentists Charles Baker, Parminder Bhogal and Binderpal Bains have developed a substantial level of expertise in practicing dentistry. We have brought together an excellent team of hygienists, nurses and receptionists, many of whom were patients of the practice as children! We have been computerised since the late 1980s. We use the best dental software available (Software of Excellence) and the latest in digital radiography to deliver first-class clinical efficiency.
