After being diagnosed with Acromegaly in 2007, I knew that things had to change. Not only did I want to make sure that my life was a calm and happy one, I was looking around at my friends and family and seeing the increasing demands being made on them. I wanted to learn how to help them stay stress-free and happy. I wanted to share the ability to live mindfully with everyone. I am incredibly proud of my work sharing mindfulness in schools through my Calmer Classrooms programme. Having taught in schools for many years I was relieved to be leaving the stress of the school environment, but heartbroken to be leaving the colleagues and children. So creating resources and training to help them seemed like the obvious choice.
