K9 Matters began in 2002 by Marina Timms and her partner Chris Baker. We have a training field in Winchfield for our socialisation workshops. We run weekly dog training classes in the North Warnborough Village Hall, Hook and in the St Phillip & St James Church Hall, Fleet. Talented, dedicated, creative, and thoughtful are just some adjectives that have been used to describe Marina and her work with dogs. She started from competitive obedience and progressed to service and sport dogs. A thirst for Knowledge in understanding behaviour development and modification underlies her drive. She has a natural intuition and a clear, calm approach which help her train dogs that are to be confident, stable and enthusiastic in their work. When the opportunity arose to pursue this passion professionally she seized the chance and has not looked back. Since then she has assisted many people with the most complex of behaviour issues and trained students in numerous canine disciplines. Marina is often sought after for the strong and dynamic foundation work she does with young dogs. Marina believes in the value of educating dogs as confident performers and functional family members.
