As a consequence, the company changed its name and undertook a corporate re-branding exercise to reflect, more accurately, the growing stature of the business. The company became K2 Flooring; a token acknowledgement to its double ‘k’ heritage. The use of Flooring in the title also encompasses the wider offer of a choice of materials including real wood and laminates, Amtico and Karndean, rather than merely the supply and fitting of carpets. Originally operating from a single site and principally servicing the domestic market, the company now has two outlets; one in Swanley, the other in West Malling. The company’s expansion is attributable to its well deserved reputation for service excellence, coupled with the growing amount of contract work it is now managing, within the commercial sector.
