This is achieved through examinations and awards for both adults and children with the NATD syllabus. Pupils are also encouraged to develop their own style, exploring different rhythms and sounds through non-syllabus work to many different genres of music. Principal Jo Summerfield has over 40 years dance experience. Her teaching qualifications are with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD) and she has been teaching for many years - both local classes and at workshops around the UK. Jo has also written for UK dance magazines and helped with the re-launch of Associated Tap Dancers.
