Following qualification I worked in the commercial sectors in prestige hotel and office refurbishments in London moving to Dorset in 1988 to work for a large practice in Poole as Project Manager on multi-million pound shopping centres. 'John Moseley Architects' was formed in 1993 following a number of commissions from private clients and local housing associations. The practice benefits from the experience of a wide variety of work, from domestic extensions to the refurbishment and conversion of 'Listed' and historic properties and from new housing projects to major commercial developments for both private clients and the public sector. The accumulated knowledge of such a variety of building types, sizes and functions has enabled the practice to develop a clear understanding of clients' aspirations, of the building functions and the construction techniques that are required to forge creative solutions.
