Your child’s first few years in the world are precious. Children develop quickly in the early years and home based learning is an essential part of their development. Children at JenniWren’s Childcare benefit from a structured routine with learning goals and objectives, just like a pre-school or nursery, but from within a relaxed and familiar environment, with a smaller group of children and a sense of family. We value the importance of real life experience learning, e.g. being a part of the community, growing fruit and vegetables, feeding the animals at the farm and important social skills which are reinfoced by learning alongside other children. Being outdoors has a positive impact on a child’s sense of well-being and helps all aspects of child development. We love spending our days outdoors gaining first-hand contact with the weather, seasons and the natural world. We always plan our days around providing children with the freedom to explore, use their senses, and be physically active. Children at JenniWren’s Childcare are encouraged to extend their learning and development with fun, excitement and enjoyment and develop their sense of investigation, curiosity and wonder of the world around them. By closely following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework we support children to achieve their full potential. Careful planning ensures that all children at JenniWren’s Childcare are being provided with a rich and varied personal learning experience, establishing ‘school readiness’ and a solid foundation for good future progress through school and life.
