Surveys available include the RICS HomeBuyer Report. This is a popular mid-range product using a traffic light Condition Rating system to draw attention to urgent matters. A valuation can be included as a additional feature. For older or more complex properties a full Building Survey (formerly known as a structural survey) may be more appropriate. Again, this uses a Condition Rating system but is a more detailed inspection and report which does not include a valuation.
