I started my carpentry and dry-lining career with an apprenticeship at Island Builders, and worked on many Island projects including: Hunnyhill (housing development), Horsebridge Hill (housing development), Isle of Wight College (an extension), Jeals Lane (housing development), and Somerfield Stores in Newport. I've been involved in some larger projects, doing dry-lining and suspended ceilings in London at: British Library, Barclays Bank, Wood Green Shopping Centre, Slough Shopping Centre, Canary Wharf, and Thurrock Shopping Centre. Along with this I've been dry-lining in Leipzig & Frankfurt over in Germany. I then moved on to work as a Window and Conservatory fitter for three different Island double glazing companies. Since then I've been self employed doing all kinds of building and electrical work, and now we're IOW Carpentry and Electrical.
