Toning tables were the way forward, slower stretching exercises that toned and streamlined the female form without the intimidation of a gymnasium. Her first premises were in Witton St, above what is now the Subway sandwich shop. As many old customers will well remember it was the only fitness centre with toning tables and sun beds. Anthea stayed in Northwich for five years and as her business expanded she moved to bigger premises at Queen Street, Northwich where she opened a fully equipped pulse gym and continued with the toning tables. This is when Anthea decided to establish the beauty side, with the first tanning booth in Northwich, saving all the rub-in wash-off next day tans, the tanning booth giving you a spectacular natural tan which lasts for days but only takes minutes.
