Your first appointment with an osteopath at In Touch with Health Osteopaths will take longer than subsequent sessions as your osteopath takes your full case history and conducts a medical screening to determine the best treatment for you. It is likely that the osteopath will ask you to remove some of your clothing during the first consultation in order to examine you properly. Therefore, you may want to come prepared in loose clothing or bring a pair of shorts or trousers that you feel comfortable in. How long you need to visit an osteopath for will vary, but the average is 6 sessions. We can advise you on the likely length of your treatment after your initial consultation. An initial consultation costs £50 and lasts for 1 hour 15 mins to enable us to fully examine you. Further sessions last for 45 minutes and will cost you £40 for each visit. Fees are payable after each session and we accept cash, cheque, credit and debit card payments. We are registered with many health insurance providers (not BUPA or PPP) and am happy to treat patients who have insurance cover.
