We also provide both routine and advanced care (oral surgery and sedation), under NHS. Oral surgery referrals (from your own Dentist or Medical GP), are accepted as part of NHS Cumbria's innovative oral surgery clinical network, under which we have been assessed and received accreditation. We are committed to a preventative and minimal intervention approach to dentistry, which we believe is the best long term way of maintaining your oral health. We have a special interest in providing dental care for anxious patients, both adults and children, and include various forms of sedation and behaviour management within our treatment options. You will NOT be the most nervous patient we have cared for, no matter how daunting the prospect of attending feels. Come in and see us, and let us help. Each clinician sets aside time every day to see and treat emergency cases, and we are available for advice or where necessary, emergency care out side of our listed opening hours. Our team comprises two dentists, a dental therapist, a dental hygienist, an oral health educator who is also our lead nurse, as well as 3 other registered dental nurses, several of which also hold higher nursing qualifications. We currently have 4 trainee nurses who we are supporting though their registration qualifications as well as a receptionist, practice manager and cleaner.
