Hikes for Hounds are fully insured and our dog walkers and pet sitters are police checked (CRB). Pets travel safely in our specially adapted van and no more than four dogs are walked at a time. We also follow the recommended code of practice set out by the Nationwide Associates of Registered Pet Sitters (NARPSUK). My name is John and I run Hikes for Hounds. I started Hikes for Hounds because friends suggested after walking their dogs during the winter months that I should do it for a living. It seemed the perfect opportunity to combine my love of animals and working outside. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals and as part of my degree I studied animal behaviour. I therefore really know how important it is to keep animals amused with play and exercise. Whether I am walking your dog or feeding your pet, I can assure you that I will treat your pet as if they are my own by providing love, cuddles and fun whilst they are under my care. Anna and I have also recently completed a canine first aid course.
