My name is Harry Glennie, I started having an interest in electronics from a very young age by taking all sorts of things apart and figuring out what makes them work. I started my education in computers at Blairgowrie High School, I got my higher in computing, this was when I decided that’s what I want to do! After 6th year at High School, I left to go to Perth College to study my degree in computing during which I met Denyse Ritz a local lady who owned Strathmore computers, I spent the summer working in her shop and ended up lasting 3 great years. I started my own computing company ‘Harry Glennie Computing’, I’ve had a lot of good experience in many areas of computing and I am constantly learning through experience, and courses. I am involved with RAYNET, it’s a voluntary group that provides emergency communications through Amateur radio using many different modes of communication. It was formed after the flooding disasters and its primary goal is to provide communications during emergencies such as extreme weather, but also help charities when they have fundraising events.
