I have been DBS enhanced checked and I have completed the West Berkshire Council approved childminder training. I am also Paediatric First Aid trained and am fully registered with Ofsted. I follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Framework to ensure your child progresses well and is ready for school. I live in a detached house off of Pinchington Lane, which is in the South of Newbury, with my husband and two children. We have a dedicated play room with toys and books for all of the children to use, along with educational material for them to enjoy learning whilst staying with me. I provide healthy snacks and meals if required. Our garden is fully enclosed, and has outside toys for when the weather is nice. We also have a small play park within sight of the house for more outside fun! The kitchen, playroom and stairs all have child gates for the children's safety. We go on regular outings to Sure Start children's centres, children's groups, the town centre library, Greenham Common, Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre and meet with other childminders and children to give children time socialising and learning together as well as individually.
