I'm not sure how the previous occupants of our office had any discreet conversations. Every office and meeting room had clear glass windows when we moved in, which meant any performance reviews or other meetings that require privacy could be seen by anyone who was close by. We have replaced all of the clear windows with privacy enhanced windows, which still allow a lot of light in but give the meeting participants the opportunity to have discreet meetings when they need.
