I am American by birth. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I had a variety of work experiences. These included teaching English in Greece, working as a circulation manager in a busy publishing house in Chicago, employment as a plasterer and bricklayer in London’s East End, and a period living in a Buddhist meditation community. I have been a practising psychotherapist for over thirty-five years. My life long psychotherapeutic inspiration has been the work of Carl Jung and his followers. My training in psychoanalytic and humanistic perspectives with the Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies added to this. I hold a diploma in psychotherapy with the IPSS. I am an accredited psychotherapist member of the UK Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners and I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy. I hold an M.A. in Counselling from Hertfordshire University. I am also a member of the International Association for Jungian Studies.
