Providing outstanding quality childcare for over 20 years. When you choose Rosedene you can be confident that you are giving your child the best possible start in life. During the 1950’s Mrs Jean Barr founded Rosedene playgroup at Zetland School in Marske-by the sea. This magnificent victorian building was donated to the local people to establish a village school by the Earl of Zetland in 1863. Jean retired in 1993 and current directors John & Clare McCullagh, both former Rosedene pupils, aquired the Nursery. They realised the requirement for early years care in the area and moved swiftly to found a second site at Redcar two years later; the nursery was officially opened by former England international footballer, Jack Charlton.
