The concept of a better way†evolved for Ruth and Chris during their careers in commerce and industry, but it was not until travelling across South India in 1999 that the concept was crystallised. Suspended 30m above the jungle floor, in a tree house that would serve as their dwelling for the next few days, Ruth and Chris experienced first-hand the clean pure oxygen produced by the rainforests of Kerala. The experience provided the inspiration and critical impetus to realising a passion for using living plants to enhance man-made environments. Today, the better way†concept manifests itself in a strongly held belief that there is a better way to conduct business, which delivers a great experience for everybody. A better way to deliver great customer service; a better way to interact with our employees; and a better way to build rewarding relationships with our suppliers and the local community.
