As an example of what we can achieve, in early 2014 GMT were chosen to replace the 100-year-old Middle Drawbridge at the Tower of London. We constructed a replica bridge on site, which is used and admired by thousands of visitors every day. GMT Timber Frames was founded in 2008 by Geoff Foers and Marc Watson, both time-served carpenters with many years experience in timber construction. Having both run businesses before, Geoff and Marc set out to offer high-quality framing at competitive rates from their yard on an organic farm near Bruton in Somerset.
