Our call centre is a free service to anybody wishing to book an interpreter. All it takes is a single telephone call from wherever you may be; our trained staff will ask you for the details of what you need and we will take care of the rest. An interpreter will then call you back to confirm the details of the assignment and his or her attendance. A substantial majority of members are registered public service interpreters with the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) or the National Registers of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD), having been vetted and checked by the authorities. Others are public service interpreters with different qualifications. Many are also members of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (IoL) and/or the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI). They have extensive knowledge and awareness of different educational and cultural backgrounds and are familiar with legal procedures.
