Local History — King Charles II landed on the 23rd June 1650, approximately 400 yards from the 9th green to sign the Solemn League and Covenant. Wild Life — An abundance of wild life can be seen from the course, dolphins and seals in the Moray Firth, birds in the adjoining Spey Bay Wild Bird Reserve and the common sight of Ospreys diving for fish during the summer in the River Spey.
