I have had a passion for nutrition for over 10 years. I began to notice the effects that different foods had on the way I felt, both immediately after eating them and in the hours & days thereafter. This sparked my interest in Nutritional Therapy and the desire to help others potentially move towards better health. I am a little different from many other Nutritional Therapists, in that I try to address health conditions via the dietary route first and foremost, rather than trying to 'place a band-aid' on the conditions but suggesting supplements. I have studied for 3 years with Premier Training where I gained a distinction in Nutrtional theory work and my Nutritional Therapy Diploma. The course is written to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and has Stage 1 Accreditation with the Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC). During my course I learnt how nutrition may be used as both a cure and prevention for many health conditions, and how food may lead the way to optimal health and feeling good! I also hold a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and am a full member of BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy).
