Born in Bangor I attended school locally here in Menai Bridge. Passing my A levels in physics and math, I was hoping to become a mechanical engineer! But my real passion was always fine food. I began work in establishments such as The Straits (Menai Bridge), The Loft of The Bull (Beaumaris) and in Portmeirion, where I gained the best tuition in the area! This is when my passion for quality fresh fine food, presentation and unique style developed. Working my way up to Head Chef by the age of 23 and I felt confident enough in my abilities, vision and passion to start my own business. Offering my own unique style. Freckled Angel started as a private catering business in 2013, which I loved. Then decided I wanted nothing more than my own restaurant. That is how in 2016 Freckled Angel tapas came about. My vision is to give my customers a top restaurant quality service but with a welcoming and relaxed setting. Details are extremely important! Customer satisfaction, the best service and excellent food quality is what I aim to provide. I will always go the extra mile!
