Patients are often advised to attend the clinic by other medical professionals and therapists; however, most people come to the clinic after speaking to previous patients. Patrick is trained in the McTimoney form of chiropractic, a system which can be described as both ‘whole body’ and holistic. ‘Whole body’ means that the whole skeletal system is assessed so that factors contributing to or causing the pain can be treated, as well as the site of pain itself. Holistic, describes the assessment of life style factors (work, hobbies and family etc.) – the patient’s whole life - and their effect on the body, so that these can be modified where necessary. The combination of these means that the risk of symptoms reccuring can be minimised so reducing the need for further treatment.
