‘Flowers are at once delicate and powerful. When brought into a venue they add a sense of enchantment — that feeling of bringing the outside in. I love creating sumptuously sculptural floral arrangements and fragrant bouquets for couples in Kent, East Sussex and across the South East of England, to colour life’s most memorable milestones and significant celebrations.’ Having been raised by wonderfully green-fingered parents, I’ve heard the call of the wild from a young age. However, it wasn’t until I was in my late twenties that I found the way to answer that call. I moved back to my family home in the forest to retrain as a florist, and have found a career that enlivens me. I love the way floristry allows me to unleash my inner artist. Putting together displays of seasonal colour and texture is at once fiercely creative and immeasurably soothing, and being able to create wedding flowers that play a part in people’s happiest memories makes it all the more rewarding.
