Since qualifying, Peter has also worked part time at the University College of Osteopathy (formerly British School of Osteopathy). He is a Senior Clinic Tutor supervising, and assessing the clinical competence of, third and final year students within the school clinic, as well as developing their knowledge and skills by leading practical tutorials. From 1999 — 2001 Peter worked for the then newly established General Osteopathic Council (GOsC.) He was part of a team that assessed osteopathic applications to join the GOsC and interviewed applicants. He also acted as mentor to a number of osteopaths during this time. Peter maintains his professional development by attending seminars and practical courses and he is an active member of a local osteopathic group.
