Central to the atmosphere of Firle is a diverse and culturally rich community with many artists, craftsmen and local businesses. As well as magnificent walks, bike rides, simulated game shooting and country pursuits, the Estate contains many places to stay, eat and drink. We would encourage you to explore things to see and do using the Interactive Guide to The Firle Estate within this website and we wish you an enjoyable visit. Public and private events, festivities and weddings are at Firle Place throughout the year. Please see the Wedding and Events section for more information. During the summer months Firle Place is open to visitors. The house and tearoom will reopen to the public between 7th June and 17th October 2019. Standard open days are: Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as well as the August Bank Holiday. The house will open from 14.00 until 16.30, with last admission at 16:00. A guided tour system works on weekdays, and on Sundays there is a free-flow process, with a guide in every room. More information on opening times and entrance costs can be found on the House and Visits section.
