Omar learnt much of his metal smithing by working with goldsmiths in Kathmandu, and continued learning whilst living with a community of silversmiths in central Brazil. Omar makes beautiful bespoke jewellery and specializes in creating new and modern pieces using the customers own unwanted gold. Of course he is equally happy to make any piece of jewellery using new metal., be that platinum, gold, silver or palladium. Almost everything is made on the premises and customers who are interested can go in and watch each stage in the production of their piece of jewellery, something rarely available in most high street jewellers. His collection of both precious and semi precious stones and beads is vast, and prices are extremely competitive, as he and his wife travel frequently and source many of their stones in Asia.
