The Fair Repair Centre was founded in 1989 by Roger Faulkner & his father in law Bill Waters, as the business developed John Love was asked to join the company as a technician/mechanic and started in 1991. Along with his usual duties he undertook much of the day to day running of the business during the late nineties and beyond. Roger decided in 2003 that he would pursue other ventures outside of the motor trade so John agreed to purchase the business and took over as director in 2004. After running the business successfully for a further ten years, John decided to take semi retirement on the Isle of Wight. The business has now passed onto its third owner/director Richard Mitton a long term friend and colleague of John’s going back to the late eighties, Richard was an apprentice of John’s at Lucas Service for a number of years. He has spent the last 18 years working for the Automobile Association ending his career as team technical specialist patrol to purchase the business from John. He has vast technical knowledge of modern day vehicles and brings with him "all makes" diagnostics servicing and repair capabilities.
