Elma spent her earlier years on the Atlantic coast of Ireland where she first became interested in caring for people's health. She entered Healthcare by training and qualifying in general nursing. Having married and moved to London, she soon started her only family whilst training in Midwifery. After London, Elma went on to live and raise her children in East Sussex. Despite finding that mainstram nursing offer less and less time with each client, her care for people's health was undiminished and she decided that it was time to embark on the next stage of her career. In 2007, Elma went to study at the International College of Oriental Medicine where she gained her BSc Honours degree in Acupuncture. Since then, Elma has been happily and busily practising Acupuncture.
