Athough it is uncertain exactly when our practice was established, it is believed to date back to before the Second World War, when it predominantly dealt with farm animals. However, as the need for agricultural veterinary care in Essex declined over the years, our practice became dedicated to delivering first class care for small animals. Our owner David Eagar joined the practice 35 years ago. He went on to become a partner with two others, and in 2005 became the sole owner of Elm House Veterinary Centre. In 1992, after deciding to focus on smaller, household pets, we moved our practice to its current location. Today, as well as offering all of the services your pet may need, we also have adequate parking facilities, a fully-equipped operating theatre and the space to hold exclusive puppy parties for our clients.
