The practice has been in existence since the 1940s originally operating from the house next door. It has seen changes in ownership and has expanded considerably, most recently in 1996 when the premises was completely refurbished from top to bottom to include a new suite of kennels and a dedicated operating theatre. With an increase in both farm and pet work the number of vets has increased from two in the 1980s to a current complement of five.
