Based in the coastal town of Charmouth, I design contemporary, creative and sustainable outdoor spaces, in response to your needs and preferences, and in tune with the wider environment. As a designer I am particularly interested in sensitivity to site and through informed planting and sustainable materials I aim to encourage thriving ecosystems within your garden and to reduce the need for irrigation and chemicals. My training began in Fine Art. I gained a first class degree in Sculpture in 1991 and worked in education whilst studying for an RHS Certificate in Horticulture and an intensive course of training in Garden Design with John Brookes MBE and Nigel Fuller MSGD. I gained a distinction in both disciplines and launched DKA Garden Design in July 2004. I have professional indemnity insurance and references/testimonials can be provided on request.
