Nationwide expertise in all types of historic houses ranging from small cottages through to very large country houses. Many properties are listed, including Grade 1. We maintain the highest standards of reporting advising on the historical evolution of the property, current condition and providing recommendations regarding repair, maintenance and listed building issues. Clients are invited to meet David Hornsby towards the end of the inspection. Our inspections are an important part of the service and accordingly are not rushed or squeezed into specific time slots. Only 2 to 3 surveys per week are undertaken so as to preserve the high quality of the service to individual clients. Reports are prepared with very definite recommendations and on the basis of providing added value. This can take the form of proving detailed historical analysis of the development of the property and or, an understanding of costed future liabilities associated with repairs and maintenance. Some clients use the report for negotiation purposes.
