We currently have 44 new homes in development and over the next five years Crown Simmons has plans to develop and acquire a further 100 new homes, applying more than 50 years of experience in development services and property management of leasehold housing for retired people and public-sector owned homes. Crown Simmons Housing is a not-for-profit Registered Provider of affordable housing working in the south east of England and parts of London. We were established in 1959 to provide high-quality homes in great locations by working in partnership with local councils, developers, funders, Homes England and public sectors bodies. Our homes are mainly allocated through nominations agreements with local authorities and other partners with a small number of homes available through direct applications. We give single people, couples and families on low-incomes the opportunity to rent or own a home of their own. We also help charities and other organisations with their properties by providing management services. We look after their tenants, collect rent and organise repairs. This is all on top of building homes with local councils and developers.
