She is qualified in Western acupuncture which she uses alongside Osteopathic treatment. She has also trained in Visceral Manipulation with the Barral Institute. This is suitable for all ages and is an integrative approach that assesses and treats the relationships between the viscera and connective tissue, which can result from surgical scarring, adhesions, illness, posture or injury. Margaret qualified in 1983 at the British School of Osteopathy, London and worked in Staffordshire practices before establishing the practice in Congleton in 1987 (initially in Chapel Street and High Street before our current location in Kinsey Street) She worked for 4 years at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in Manchester (www.fpo.org.uk) with special interest in treatment during pregnancy and children with special needs, and has continued her training in treating babies and children at the London School of Osteopathy.
