Class One will help you achieve your finest dancing ability, enabling you to find what you are looking for in dance and performance. If you are a complete beginner or dance at a professional level, whatever your style of dance we have a class for you. We are located in Hednesford, Penkridge and Cannock, offering dance classes for all ages and abilities. Class One dance academy has been established for 20 years; opening in Hednesford in 1996 we now hold classes in Cannock. Class one have a high reputation for delivering quality dance lessons for all ages and abilities in a wide genre of dance styles including Ballet, Musical Theatre, Street, Hip Hop, Rock and Roll, Commercial, Contemporary and Freestyle Disco to name a few. In this time our dancers have won many Regional, European and World championship titles within Freestyle Disco solos and pairs, Street Dance, Rock n Roll, and various styles of teams. Class one is renowned for their teams dances; our freestyle Disco team “Phoenix” who competed at the highest championship level won the prestigious Le Classique de Danse award in 2007 and achieved a World title in 2011. Not only have we been successful with our teams, Gillian trained a student who went on to achieve a World Champion status in 2013. Our dancers have started from as little as 18months old and progressed through the school to advance levels. Not only have our students won lots of prestigious awards at the competitions some have taken their dancing further. Working closely with the teacher, students have gone on to obtain scholarships and positions at some of the top performing arts schools in London and now work around the world as professional dancers.
