Cornice restoration is carried out using traditional insitu methods to recreate the perfect match . Precast cornice is used mainly for rooms that don’t have any cornice and want to give it a quality finish. We also do general plasterwork for the perfect finish that is ready for decoration. I Gordon Muir left school in May 1984 to begin my apprenticeship as a plasterer. I underwent my training with a local firm where I gained skills in general and ornate plasterwork. In April 1998 I made the decision to form my own company Claremont Cornicing and Plastering. Recommendations have been the back bone to the success of the company. Over the years I have been self employed, and as an employee, I have been involved with training new plasterers. I enjoy the challenge of training others as I know they will be trained to the level that I would expect them to be. I enjoy been given new challenges in plastering and like to always leave a job finished to the highest standard.
