We provide the highest quality dental care to every patient, always with the aim of good long-term dental health. Preservation of healthy tooth tissue is paramount. We do not undertake inappropriate dental care and we will always discuss with you options for any treatment required. We want to provide maximum prevention with minimal intervention. The practice provides all areas of restorative dentistry from aesthetic challenges using the colour changes produced by tooth whitening and white fillings, to the reconstruction of badly damaged or neglected mouths and the replacement of failing restorations. In 1981, as a newly qualified dentist you could leave the protection of your dental school, armed with only the knowledge acquired in your undergraduate programme and never undertake any further training or education for the rest of your practising days. Any new innovations and equipment were as demonstrated by the representatives of the small number of dental wholesalers who arrived in the practice with a suitcase of new wares and special “offers of the month”, each knowing the best time to arrive for coffee or lunch. It was cosy, predictable and nonthreatening to the dentist. It took little account of the best way to treat the patients.
