Fern and Adam, Joint-Principals, grew up in Norwich and met as children at Central School. As youngsters they performed here at the Theatre Royal, in pantomimes and in touring shows. Both are enjoying being involved with the Theatre Royal once more. As well as the new Principals, Central has a fantastic team of dedicated teachers in Kerry Chrysafi, David Johnson, Catherine Chapman, Clare Durrant and Alice Ross. Fern graduated from Bird College (BA) Hons Dance and Theatre Performance course in 2009 and has since enjoyed a varied career travelling and performing around the world, not only as a professional dancer but as an accomplished aerialist, fire performer, stilt walker and magician’s assistant. She also directs her own company Sparkle Artists, providing speciality entertainment for corporate events and private functions. Fern is passionate about introducing specialist skills to the students and since taking over has introduced Acro classes, as well as aerial workshops to the curriculum.
