Carter School of Dance has always been centred within the community. This remains key to the operation of the school which specialises in different styles of dancing. Through its years of experience, it strives to ensure that students can enjoy dance. The happy atmosphere is reflected in the friendships that are formed between the students and the lifelong skills that are acquired through learning to dance. Carter School of Dance prides itself in the achievements of all the students, and encourages development and progression with examinations taken each term in the syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Exceptional young students are encouraged to apply for associate places in leading vocational schools such as the Royal Ballet School, Central School of Ballet, and Tring Park.
