We have recently started making a big effort to cut down on our waste. The organic waste is taken to local allotments to be composted, and in one month alone we recycled 2400 litres of plastics and metals, 120 litres of cooking oils and 4000 litres of paper and cardboard, produced in our kitchens. On large functions we also offer a service which removes plastics paper and cardboard from your venue. We insist that all our suppliers offer us a reliable service, with a good price for quality ingredients. All our cooked meats are 100% meat, not plastic looking shavings. Raw meats are locally sourced, with chicken we insist on breast meat and for mince we either use steak quality beef or again chicken breast meat. Our mayonnaise is made from free-range eggs. Our fruit and vegetables are selectively sourced from different suppliers so we can get a great tasting product at a good price, helping to keep our prices competitive.
